The Farmers Market

You’ll find locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, flowers, plants and gourmet cheeses sold by the farmers who produce them. The market also features decadent pastries, baked goods, olives, spices, home made pasta and knife sharpening services. This family friendly activity offers freshly squeezed lemonade, kettle corn and snow cones made on site. Enjoy the unique flavors of summer at the farmers market!

Weekly Entertainment

Enjoy weekly entertainment and appearances by the Park District, Schaumburg Township District Library, Prairie Center for the Arts, Schaumburg Township Historical Society, Master Gardeners, our public safety heroes, and more.  Bring friends, children and folks of all ages to listen to the music performances throughout the season.  All events are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 

New vendors will be at the market this year including Sitka Salmon who will be selling frozen fish, Umland's Crunchy Cheese Bites selling crunchy dehydrated cheese snacks, River Valley Ranch selling mushrooms, garlic and more, and Spartan Gourmet Foods selling olives and olive oils from their farm in Greece.  View a map of vendor locations to see where your favorite vendors will be this year.

Opening Day

Enjoy a performance by harpist, Karen Fernandez, and visit with the Master Gardeners who will be available to answer your gardening questions. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

June 7

Visit with Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary and the Schaumburg Township District Library to learn more about their programs and activities. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

June 14

Enjoy a unique jazz vibraphone performance by percussion specialist Brandon Reyes, and visit the Master Gardeners to get answers to your gardening questions. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

Sports and Recreation Day

Visit with the Schaumburg Park District and learn about their programs and activities. The Schaumburg Township District Library will be available to answer questions about their programs, and the bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

Enjoy a violin/guitar duet performance by Elegant Ensembles. Visit with the Schaumburg Township Historical Society and learn about their programs. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

July 5

Fourth of July Celebration

Enjoy a performance by popular vocal artist Kraig Kenning. Visit with representatives from Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary and Schaumburg Township District Library to learn about their programs. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

Public Safety Day

Senior Services and Emergency Preparedness Day

August 2

Teen Services Day

Visit with representatives from the Teen Center to learn about their programs and activities, and listen to a performance by a string trio from Elegant Ensembles. The bike patrol will be available to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

August 9

Enjoy a performance by popular folk singer Mark Dvorak. Bring your gardening questions for the Master Gardeners, and visit with the bike patrol to register bikes and learn about bike safety.

August 16

Cultural Arts Day

Visit with representatives from the Prairie Center for the Arts and pick up the 2019-2020 entertainment season brochure while enjoying a performance by harpist, Karen Fernandez. Representatives from Senator Murphy’s office will be on hand to answer constituent questions and provide state and local resources for people.

August 23

Learn about programs and activities offered at Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary and Schaumburg Township Historical Society.

August 30

Labor Day Celebration

Visit with representatives from Schaumburg Township District Library to learn about their programs and activities.   Representatives from Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison's office will be on hand to answer constituent questions and provide local resources for people.

September 6

Booth space is sold out for 2019. 

All products sold at the Olde Schaumburg Centre Farmers Market must be grown or produced by the vendor selling them.  Review the market Rules and Regulations to read the requirements and to see what types of products are eligible to be sold.
