The Farmers Market

You’ll find locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, flowers, plants and gourmet cheeses sold by the farmers who produce them. The market also features decadent pastries, baked goods, olives, spices, home made pasta and knife sharpening services. This family friendly activity offers freshly squeezed lemonade, kettle corn and snow cones made on site. Enjoy the unique flavors of summer at the farmers market!

Weekly Entertainment

Enjoy weekly entertainment and appearances by Schaumburg Park District, Schaumburg Township District Library, Prairie Center for the Arts, Schaumburg Historical Society, Schaumburg Bike Patrol and our public safety heroes from the Police, Fire and Nursing Divisions and the Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Cooperative Extension Service.   All events are free and scheduled from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 

June 1

Opening Day

Enjoy a violin/guitar duet performance by Elegant Ensembles, and learn about programs offered at the library and Schaumburg Township Historical Society. The Master Gardeners will be available to answer your gardening questions and the bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

June 8

Enjoy a performance of contemporary folk and pop music by Donna Brooks. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

June 15

Visit the Master Gardeners to get answers to your gardening questions, and learn about programs offered at the Schaumburg Township District Library. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

June 22

Sports and Recreation Day

Enjoy a performance by popular folk singer Kraig Kenning and visit with the Park District to learn more about their programs. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

June 29

Enjoy a performance by harpist, Karen Banaszewski.  Representatives from Senator Murphy’s office will be on hand to answer constituent questions and provide state and local resources for people. Visit the Master Gardeners for answers to your gardening questions and learn about programs offered at the Schaumburg Township District Library. The bike patrol will be on hand to register bikes and provide information about bike safety.

Fourth of July Celebration
