The Village President (Mayor) is elected to a four-year term and presides over the Board of Trustees. Al Larson is the chairperson for the Village Board meetings and the Committee of the Whole meetings. Al Larson’s current term expires on the second Tuesday in May 2011. |

Trustee Connelly served for 12 years on the Schaumburg Park Commission from 1983 to 1995, and served on the Zoning Board for two years from 1995 to 1997. She was appointed as Trustee on August 12, 1997. She was first elected as Trustee in April 1998. Ms. Connelly is Chairperson of the Engineering and Public Works Committee, is a member of the Finance, Legal, Administration, General Government (FLAGG) Committee, is a member of the Health and Human Services Committee, is a member of the 1% for Art Committee, and is a Director on the Prairie Center Arts Foundation Board. Ms. Connelly’s current term expires on the second Tuesday in May 2013. |

Trustee Curcio served for 13 years on the Olde Schaumburg Centre Commission from 1990 to 2003 and was Chairperson for 10 years from 1993 - 2003. He was elected as Trustee on April 8, 2003. Mr. Curcio is Chairperson of the Transportation Committee, is a member of the Finance, Legal, Administration, General Government (FLAGG) Committee, and is a member of the Engineering and Public Works Committee. Mr. Curcio’s current term expires on the second Tuesday in May 2011. |

Trustee Dunham was a founder of the Lexington Fields South Homeowner’s Association in 1979 and later served as its President and as a Director. He served on Ad-Hoc Committees on Residential Development in 1983 and 2002, and was appointed to the Schaumburg Business Development Commission in 1986 where he continues to serve as an ex-officio member. He served on the Schaumburg Plan Commission from 1989 to 1991 when he was elected Village Trustee. He also served on the Illinois International Convention Center Authority for three years from 1993 to 1996 and on the Schaumburg Regional Airport Advisory Commission since 1997. Mr. Dunham is currently the Chairperson of the Finance, Legal, Administration, General Government (FLAGG) Committee, is a member of the Public Safety Committee, and is a member of the Planning, Building, and Development (PBD) Committee. As Senior Trustee, Trustee Dunham chairs Coffee with the Council. His current term expires on the second Tuesday in May 2011. |

Trustee Kozak served for 26 years on the Plan Commission from 1983 to 2009. He was elected to the Village Board in April 2009. Village Clerk
The Village Clerk is elected to a four-year term and is responsible for taking Schaumburg Village Board minutes and maintaining village records. The Clerk also registers voters, administrates absentee voting, receives and certifies candidates’ petitions and referenda questions, is a member of the Electoral Commission, and provides voter information regarding election laws and polling places. |

Marilyn Karr served for seven years on the Advisory Council for the Prairie Center Arts Foundation since 2002 and was appointed as a member of the Cultural Commission on December 13, 1998. She was appointed as Village Clerk on November 19, 2004. Ms. Karr has completed the requirements necessary to qualify as a Registered Municipal Clerk under the Municipal Clerks of Illinois (MCI) and a Certified Municipal Clerk under the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC). She is currently working toward the Master Municipal Clerk designation. Ms. Karr’s current term expires on the second Tuesday in May 2011. |
