Few things are more important to a public servant than being recognized for a job well done.  Our employees are extremely dedicated to Schaumburg and make the difference every day.  Getting praise from you for their work is worth much more than anything I can say to them.  With that in mind I created the "Going the Extra Mile Award" or GEM award.

Whenever a Village of Schaumburg employee receives a commendation from you, whether by letter, email, telephone, or through this page, that special individual will receive a letter from me conveying your "applause" and why you are giving it. With the letter, they'll also receive a "GEM" certificate.

Complete a form  that will let me know about the outstanding service you have received and who can be thanked for providing it.
