Strategic Plan for 2017-2022

The Schaumburg Fire Department is proud to present its 2017-2022 Strategic Plan. The creation of the document is a combined effort between members of the community and the Village of Schaumburg providing a guideline for the future of our ever growing community.


 The Schaumburg Fire Department provides suppression and emergency medical services to a day time population of 150,000. Responding from five fire stations, 120 shift personnel respond to more than 9,100 calls a year. The fire department is responsible for providing emergency response services including fire, ambulance, hazardous materials, underwater rescue and recovery, high angle, trench and confined space rescue; and education/fire prevention programs including school presentations,  station tours, high rise drills, and Explorer Scout Post 333.
