Prairie Arts Festival

Prairie Arts Festival

For the first time in 33 years, the Prairie Arts Festival is canceled for 2020.

Please check out the artists who would have displayed their work during the 2020 Prairie Arts Festival!

The Village of Schaumburg Prairie Arts Festival organizers have been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic with great concern. Due to the Governor’s extension of the state of IL stay-at-home order through May 30, it is with great disappointment that we are announcing the cancellation of the 2020 Prairie Arts Festival, scheduled for May 23 & 24, 2020. Alternate dates could interfere with other shows our participating artists and performers are scheduled to take part later in the year.

Our artists and performers travel around the country to exhibit their work and perform their music and we have an obligation for the health and safety of the artists, performers, volunteers, staff, food vendors, judges, attendees and residents who help make our fine art exhibition and sale so successful each year. We will process refunds for artists who have already paid their booth fee.

We encourage people to continue to support the arts by making purchases directly from artists who are still creating, and hope to see you at next year’s show May 29 & 30, 2021.

Take care, stay safe and be well. We’ll get through this together.
