A sign permit is required for installation of ground signs, wall signs, and temporary signs and governed under the Village's Sign Ordinance. The Sign Ordinance provides regulations for the size, number, and placement of signs. Sign regulations can be found in Section 155 of the Municipal Code. Signs must be renewed on an annual basis and are based on the current year fee schedule. Contractors must have a valid Village of Schaumburg Contractor's Business License before issuance of a sign permit.
