***FINAL VEHICLE STICKER SEASON***
Schaumburg residents must purchase and display a vehicle sticker on each vehicle registered to a Schaumburg address or housed within the village. Enforcement will begin May 1, 2010. The vehicle sticker must be secured to the lower right hand corner of the front windshield.
Vehicle sticker renewal season begins on March 1st and runs through April 30th.
- New residents have 45 days from closing or moving in to display a valid vehicle sticker. Proof of new residency is required.
- Residents have 45 days after the purchase of a new vehicle to purchase a transfer sticker or new sticker. Proof of purchase is required to obtain the $1.00 transfer sticker.
License renewal applications are mailed at the end of February. Failure to receive a pre-printed application does not exempt any individual from purchasing by the April 30th deadline. The vehicle sticker licensing year runs from May 1, 2010 to April 30, 2011.
As approved by the Village Board this will be the final season (2010/2011) for purchasing vehicle stickers.
