The Schaumburg Dance Ensemble offeres young dancers from the greater Chicago area an opportunity to perform side by side with professional dancers from across the country. Two productions are staged each year at the Prairie Center: The Nutcracker in December and a dance adaptation of a popular fairy tale in the spring.
