SYSO Tour Survey

The Schaumburg Youth Symphony Orchestra is currently assessing the feasibility of a concert tour to London and Paris in June 2013.  The orchestra has had successful tours to Germany and Austria (2000), Japan (2003), Eastern Europe (2005), and Italy (2007).  Concert tours have been an integral and enriching part of the student orchestra experience -- we are excited at the prospect of offering this opportunity again to current members (including graduating seniors, who are eligible to participate in 2013).

Our first step in the process is to gauge your interest in touring.  Naturally, an overseas orchestra trip is nearly impossible without the participation of a majority of its members.  This short questionnaire will help us determine whether or not a tour is feasible at this time.

Please respond no later than Monday, February 6.  Only one response per member is requested (as opposed to one submission from the student and a second response from a parent).  Please consult with your family in answering these questions.  Thank you!
