The Barn serves as a second home for many of the area's seniors and disabled friends. The Village of Schaumburg's programs for seniors and disabled friends provide food, fun, and fellowship, as well as an opportunity for seniors to help their fellow seniors and their community.
Committed to good nutrition for the mind, body, and soul, the Barn offers nutritious, affordable meals (suggested donation $3-$3.25), fellowship through numerous special events, and educational programs enlightening seniors on current topics. Come and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, delicious, nutritious food, and all that the Barn has to offer. Senior and disabled residents from the Village of Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, and Schaumburg Township are welcome.

The Project Help Program assists the police in identifying and returning home those persons who become injured, lost, and/or separated from their family/caregiver. Through the Emergency Cell Phone Loan Program the Social Service Unit of the Schaumburg Police Department will provide free, deactivated cell phones to elderly residents with serious medical needs for the purpose of making emergency 911 calls.
