The Village of Schaumburg, in collaboration with the National League of Cities, is offering Village of Schaumburg residents a free prescription discount card that provides an average savings of 20% off the retail price of prescription medication.  Residents who are without health insurance or a traditional pharmacy benefit plan or have prescriptions not covered by insurance have a solution to obtain medications at a discount.  These cards are available at the municipal building, the Nursing Division office, the Family Counseling Center, the Barn (Senior Nutrition Site), the library, the township, or online at www.caremark.com/nlc.

The cards are accepted at the following pharmacies in Schaumburg:

• Roseway Professional Pharmacy
• Moon Lake Pharmacy
• Target Pharmacy
• Costco Pharmacy
