Farmers Market Opens on June 5, 2015
 
You’ll find locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, flowers, plants, and gourmet cheeses sold by the farmers that produce them.

The market also features decadent pastries, baked goods, olives, spices, home made pasta, and knife sharpening services. This family friendly activity offers freshly squeezed lemonade, kettle corn, and snow cones made on site!

Enjoy the unique flavors of summer at the Farmers Market!

Weekly Entertainment

Enjoy weekly entertainment and appearances by the Park District, Schaumburg Township District Library, Prairie Center for the Arts, and our public safety heroes from the Police, Fire, and Nursing Divisions.  All entertainment is scheduled from 9:30am - 11:30am.

Enjoy a performance by a violin-guitar duet from Elegant Ensembles and learn about programs offered at Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary.

Celebrate Halloween by picking up your apple cider, pumpkins and decorative indian corn at the market.

 

Are you interested in becoming a vendor in 2016?

  • If you have any questions about the market or are interested in becoming a vendor, call Martha Dooley at 847.923.3855 or send an email.
  • Review the market Rules and Regulations to see if your product qualifies.  
  • Complete and submit an application to Martha Dooley.
  • Some select dates will be available if you are interested in attending the market for a single day. A completed application and the required insurance documentation will be required.  
  • Fees for the 2016 market season remain unchanged at $215 for a full season booth space and $40 for a single day. The booth spaces are the size of two parking stalls which is about 18' x 18.'   There are a small number of booth spaces measuring 9' wide x 18' deep; fee for the 1/2 booth space is $115 for the full season, and $20 for a single day.
  • There is an additional weekly fee of $12 per booth space for the extended dates through the last Friday in October.
